REACH Science in the European University Alliance Ulysseus
As part of the European University Alliance Ulysseus, the REACH – EUREGIO Start-up Center is taking the lead on the work package Innovation-driven territorial transformation. Together with its partner universities, REACH is strengthening Ulysseus as a driver of innovation – both technological and social – and promoting knowledge and technology transfer within the alliance. The aim is to establish a sustainable, international innovation and transfer network between universities, their start-up centers, and regional actors in order to close innovation gaps between the Ulysseus regions.
In a co-creation process, REACH is developing a joint approach to transfer, spin-offs, and start-up promotion. Special attention is given to strengthening female, intersectional, and social entrepreneurship.
Since July 2022, the University of Münster has been a member of Ulysseus, one of 64 European universities funded under Erasmus+. The network comprises a total of eight partners: the University of Seville (Spain), Université Côte d'Azur (France), Università degli Studi di Genova (Italy), Technická univerzita v Košiciach (Slovakia), Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Finland), MCI Management Center Innsbruck (Austria), and the University of Montenegro.

- Development of workshops to support lecturers/teachers of all disciplines as well as coaches and transfer officers in promoting innovative and growth-oriented thinking and innovation skills in their own work and in their students - Development of a freely accessible, multilingual knowledge database for entrepreneurial and innovative expertise for start-up teams
- Social, Female and Intersectional Entrepreneurship Programme
- Support and promotion of female founders as well as intersectional and socially relevant start-up initiatives through workshops to develop business ideas, strengthen leadership skills and address the opportunities and challenges of diverse founders. - Providing (international) networking events for exchange and mentoring programmes that address the specific needs and backgrounds of founders.

- Organisation of 4 International Ulysseus Research and Innovation conferences to connect science, regional employers, governments, start-ups and other stakeholders to promote innovation and strengthen the respective regions in Europe
